Harbor Trading is an importer of unique, high-quality furnishings and accents for the home and outdoor living space.

While traveling the globe for 15 years, I discovered many unique and beautiful items in local markets, shops and homes. My wife and I have a passion for travel and getting to know the world and experiencing new cultures, so we wanted to find a way to bring some of this home and make it available to everyone. Live Global is our motto because the world has much to offer and we strive to discover interesting items influenced by culture, history and lifestyles.

Our products include high quality teak furniture for indoor and outdoor living hand crafted by expert artisans in Indonesia. We love the feel of natural textures and the warmth they add to living spaces so we also offer hand woven Seagrass and Banana Leaf furnishings to compliment your living room, dining room or bedroom. In addition, we carry some very unique antique, home décor and architectural pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind finds.

In addition to Indonesia, you will find discoveries from Thailand, India, China, Malaysia, Italy, Mexico, Belize and other countries. We only import from environmentally-friendly suppliers, producers and factories with good and ethical working conditions. For example, our Indonesian teak products are built from reclaimed or plantation teak wood. Reclaimed teak is from old homes and buildings throughout Indonesia that are 60-80 years old. The factories we use work with the families to not only purchase and dismantle their current wood home, but also help them build a new brick home which is stronger and safer in the elements. Many families in Indonesia only dream of having a new brick home and this helps them achieve their dream. Plantation teak is actually farmed from areas that the government put aside for the growing and farming of teak wood, so it is not taken from the rainforest or other natural habitats.

Our goal is to import directly from the manufacturers, so we can offer you high quality furnishings without a hefty price tag. Many of our furnishings have an old-world, distressed and rustic look and feel. They are hand-crafted, so no two pieces are exactly the same. This allows you to have the unique and distinctive look in your home, adding character and charm that will inspire and others will admire.

You can purchase our discovered products direct from our Harbor Trading website or direct from our warehouse. In addition, if you do not see exactly what you are looking for, we can do custom work of any kind.

We also sell directly to retailers and designers. Please contact us for information. We can work with you to design custom pieces for your customers/clients or to create a product line that is unique to your retail store.
